A bird's last chirp

There lived a woman in front of my house,
Her built was short and stout.
Always smiling while passing by, no one ever heard her cry.
A cry perhaps for help that 'talk to me, be my friend.
It might help me save myself.'

One gloomy morning while walking on the terrace,
Her eyes filled with tears.
Thinking about the wrongs everyone did to her,
Anxiety came all over.
Overthinking each incident, she made up her mind.

To end her agony once and for all,
She made a move beyond everyone's thoughts.

Clouded by her judgment, trying to be free,
She jumped from her roof and ended her misery.

Passing by the house, I saw her jump.
The sound of her bones cracking echoed around.
I witnessed the blood coming out
And there I saw in front of my eyes,
Depression taking away someone's life.
